Manually Updating The OctoEverywhere Plugin

This guide will help you update your OctoEverywhere plugin in OctoPrint to the latest and greatest!

Updating your plugin will not affect your OctoEverywhere setup, it will not delete any local settings or your printer id. This is 100% safe to do at any time!

Let's do it:

1. Open your OctoPrint portal, either locally or via OctoEverywhere.
2. Click the ? wrench icon at the top of the page to open settings.
3. In the settings UI, select "Plugin Manager" in the left vertical list of options.
4. Click the "Get More" button
5. In the "Install new Plugins" UI...
   1. Click the ? wrench icon and make sure "Only show uninstalled plugins" is not checked.
   2. In the search box, enter OctoEverywhere.
   3. The OctoEverywhere plugin should show up
   4. Click the blue "Reinstall" button.
6. Restart your OctoPrint instances and you're ready to go!
